The brand KHUSTYNA, in collaboration with Ukrainian artist Artur Soletskyi, has created a new collection of silk scarves titled "INSTINCT," which serves as a visual exploration of "mature" love.
The title—"INSTINCT"—appeals to the primal yet deeply conscious human need for another. It is a story of intimacy that offers support without imposing limitations. In today's reality, where thousands of couples are separated by borders or front lines, this project takes on a poignant edge, becoming a symbol of love that refuses to give up.
From a distance, the scarf appears to be a complex graphic ornament; however, upon closer inspection, the patterns "come alive," revealing human figures intertwining, drifting apart, and finding each other once again.
"We wanted to create paintings on silk that invite a closer look. It’s just like in a relationship: first, you see the big picture, and then you begin to distinguish the details—the movements, the glances, and the small touches that form your shared world," shares the KHUSTYNA brand team.
Artur Soletskyi—an artist whose works have already captured the hearts of global collectors (notably, one of his paintings adorns the home of Sharon Stone)—confesses that his wife is the primary engine of his creativity.
"My greatest muse is my wife. She is the center of gravity around which my world is built. In my work, I often explore the human being and their interaction with others, but it is in her that I find the depth and fragility I want to capture. The INSTINCT collection is our shared rhythm. I hope that the owners of these scarves will feel that true strength lies in tenderness and the ability to protect one another," notes Soletskyi.
